Obituary of Stanley Nickolich

Stanley "Nick" Nickolich, 77, passed away Monday April 7, 2008. He was born in Kosovo, Yugoslavia living in Chicago and the Columbus area before settling in Rootstown. He was the owner of Uno Oil Co. Nick was an avid animal lover and had run and finished the Chicago Marathon in 1980. Nick always aspired to visit his native Yugoslavia and of beiing on the Family Fued. He is a veteran of the Marine Corp serving during the Korean War. Mr. Nickolich was preceded in death by parents Newton and Rose. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Debbie; sister Eva; and granddaughter Lindsey. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2:00 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS), where the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment Homeland Cemetery where military services will be held.
