Obituary of Josephine M. Dettorre

Josephine M. Dettorre, 87, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Akron General Medical Center. She was born in Akron and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law, Ercole (Sanna), Dominic and Anthony (Genevieve) Tomei; sister, Ann Hudkins; and brothers-in-law, Charles Hudkins and Bill Pavell. She is survived by husband of 60 years, Frank; brother, George (Ann) Tomei; sisters-in-law, Mary (John) Vukman and Ann Pavell; niece, Virginia (Gale) Babb; nephew, Chuck (Chris) Hudkins; and many great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, 9:30 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. MAIN ST. (PLEASE NOTE NEW LOCATION) and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. Fr. Ralph Thomas officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
