Obituary of Anna Lazariw

Anna Lazariw (Malyj), 87, passed away Sunday March 9, 2008. She was born in Drohobucz, Ukraine coming to the United States and Akron in 1950. She was a member of Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church and the Ladies Ukrainian Sodality #7. Mrs. Lazariw was preceded in death by husbands Nick Malyj and Wasyl Lazariw. She was also preceded in death by step-son Dimitri, mother Mary and sisters Rushka and Kashka all of the Ukraine. She is survived by children Michael (Patty) Malyj, James (Susan) Malyj, Walter (Erin) Malyj, Mary (Craig) McDonald, Olga (Eric Finkelman) Malyj, step-children Slavka (Michael) Rydelek, Luba (fiance Brian) Chamberlain, nine grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Lorantffy Care Center and Hospice of Summa for the loving care of Anna. The family will receive friends Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW LOCATION) where Parastas services will be held at 5:15 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Fr.
