Obituary of Delores Lott

Delores "Dee" Lott In the peaceful early morning hours of February 26 Dee quietly slipped from our presence into her new eternal residence. While we slept, a wonderful heavenly reunion was being celebrated with her husband, Adrain and her youngest son, Lynn. Also waiting in line to embrace her were her parents, Selwin and Lula Fultz and her youngest brother, Dallas. Dee had a very strong faith and a personal relationship with God and was so looking forward to experiencing the promise of "absent from the body and present with the Lord". Our joy is to somehow imagine that moment when she left her body and stepped into the welcoming arms of her loved ones who have gone on before. Awesome! When she was first diagnosed with this terminal illness, everyone was devastated except Dee. None of us will ever forget her attitude and response when she said, "My Mom and Dad taught me how to live and they taught me how to die… watch and learn." Throughout these deteriorating months we did watch and we really did learn. She was ready and anticipating all that her faith had promised her. Dee said, "78 years is long enough for a anyone to live…." While we disagreed, she believed it. Missing her deeply are her sons Rex ( Patty) and Doyle (Polly), her favorite sister and loving caregiver, Betty Dearing and brother, Bud Fultz. Grandchildren: Rex Lott Jr., Georgia Lott, Heather Lott, Billy Lott (Jennifer Blankenship), Kaitlain Lott, Michael, Lott, Tricia Williford (Robb) and Rob Lott. Great Grand Children: Kaitlyn "Pebbles" Porter, and Tucker and Tyler Williford. Many family members and friends gathered together for Dee's Celebration of Life Party last July. Please join us again on Friday evening, February 29 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. and/or Saturday morning, March 1 at 10:00 A.M. for her memorial service at Anthony Biscan Funeral Home of Green located at 4178 Massillon Road at the corner of Massillon and Steese Roads. Dee will be laid to rest at East Liberty Cemetery. Dee loved flowers so floral condolences are very appreciated. Dee would also want you to know Hospice of Summa (444 North Main Street Akron, Ohio 44310) are very worthy recipients of your condolences in lieu of flowers.
