Obituary of Pauline Zahirsky

Pauline Zahirsky Double Picture "Together Again" Pauline Zahirsky, 90, passed away Thursday February 14, 2008 at Akron City Hospital after a brief illness. Pauline was born January 24, 1918 to John and Katrina (Houskar) Marchok in Akron, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of Life Spring Christian Church. Her life revolved around her faith and her family and she loved to garden. Mrs. Zahirsy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Theodore; and is survived by her children and their spouses Robert and Linda of Canal Fulton and Myra and James Smith of Studio City, Calif.; grandchildren James (Jennifer) Smith, Tina Smith, Casie (Hamilton) Chon-Zahirsky and Eric Zahirsky; great granddaughter Campbell Chon. Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 South Main St. (Please note new address). Terry Baker officiating. Interment East Akron Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 5 to 7pm at the funeral home. Donations may be made to life Spring Church.
