Obituary of Carol White

Carol A. White "Sister Carol, 64, passed away after a long illness Saturday February 16, 2008, surrounded by her family in Akron. Born in Akron in 1943, Carol had been a lifetime area resident. She was employed as a beautician for over 30 years. She lived and loved to be a great beautician, and that she was. In her younger years, Carol was an avid bowler and gardener. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Edsel L. Sr. in 2005; father Robert Shetler Sr.; brother Richard Shetler. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Edsel Jr. & Tina White of Akron; daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Michael Holbert of Akron; brother Robert Shetler Jr. and sister Sara Reece; grandchildren Jerry Jr., (Susan Carpenter), NaTasha, Richard, Nicholas, and Truitt, and great-grandson Jerry Hubbard III. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Fuenning and the Hospice of Summa for the loving care given to Carol. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 11:00 am at The Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW LOCATION). Pastor Scott Campbell officiating.
