Obituary of Peter Savic

Peter Savic, 88, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008 in Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife Violet. He joined the US Army during WWII in 1942 and was honorably discharged in 1945. Peter retired from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. Peter was a member of St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, St. George Orthodox Church in Canton, and was a founding member of St. Petka Orthodox Church in Florida. Peter enjoyed volunteering and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Savic is survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to friend John Carter. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 am at The Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS). Interment Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the charity of your choice.
