Obituary of John W. Greenaway
John W. Greenaway, 55, passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2012.
John was a life long resident of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, born July 30, 1956 and a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1974. He attended the University of Akron and the Community College of U.S. Air, majoring in industrial electronics. John was the owner of the American Fisherman Pro Shop on S. Main St. in Akron, Ohio; employed by Loral, McNeil Akron, Hi-Tech and Rogers Industrial Products. He was an avid fisherman, built his own bass boats, loved music and gardening. John was also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Preceded in death by his parents, Samuel R. and Theresa Greenaway; He is survived by daughters, Rikki (Chuck) Ross, Dani and Tayler Greenaway; brother, Bob (Judy) Greenaway; and sisters, Sharon (Tom) Hoffman, Sandy (Tom) Barefoot and Susan O'Brien; and life-long friend, Pat (Sandy) Hite.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, 1 to 3 p.m. with services immediately following at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) in Cuyahoga Falls.
