Obituary of Betty M. Taylor

GREEN - Betty M. Taylor, 69, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007. She was born May 13, 1938 to Raymond and Elizabeth (Riley) Brown in Akron and, except for a few years in Texas, had been an Akron area resident for most of her life. She was employed by the Summit County Engineer for over 21 years in community relations. She was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling, sewing clothing for herself and her family, painting and embroidery. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Sanor Taylor; and is survived by her children Therese (Edward) Jacobs, Thomas (Crystal), Timothy (Robin), Raymond (Michelle) and Robert (Michele) Taylor; brothers Jerry (Maggie) Brown and Bob (Mary) Brown; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews cousins and good friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 11:30 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, 4 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. MAIN ST. in Akron. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS).
