Obituary of George C. Montini

George C. Montini, 87, passed away Monday, December 24, 2007. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in 1982 after 25 years of service and was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. He was preceded in death by wife, Bernice; and son, Steven. He is survived by daughter, Christine Montini of Kent; brothers, Victor of New Jersey and Eddie (Connie) of Pennsylvania; sister, Marie (Harry) Bowers of New Jersey; granddaughter, Gina (Brad) Laterza of Brimfield; and great-grandson, Nicholas. Funeral service will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. MAIN ST. in Akron. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS). Rev. Chyrl Harbert officiating.
