Obituary of Lawrence Anthony Sutter

Lawrence A. Sutter, II Lawrence A. Sutter, II, died Wednesday December 19, 2007 at the Hospice Care Center after a long illness. He was born in Barberton and had been an area resident his entire life. He was the owner of Sutter's Pantry Convenience Stores for 22 years until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church and the Firestone VFW Post 3383 Men's Auxiliary. He was a veteran the US Marines. Mr. Sutter was preceded in death by his first wife Cheryl in 1993 and his son Matthew in 2003 and is survived by his wife Madelyn (Midge) (Knep); children Michelle Adkins of Norton, Larry (Paula) Sutter of Chagrin Falls and Scott (Jill) Sutter of Barberton; step-children Michael, John (Joan), Mark (Pam), Jim, Bob, Margaret (Don), Beth (Larry), Mickey (Neal) and Kathy (Jon); sisters Janann Young and Jannell (Ken) Crosley; grandchildren Andrew, Amanda, Tony, Aaron, Sean, Jonathan, Thom, Adam, Michael, Kenny, Jason, Natalie, Ian, Matthew, Alex, Jennifer, Jeremy, Elisabeth, Molly, Lauren, Heather, Steven, Erica, Dillon and David; great granddaughter Samantha. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:00am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 South Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS) and 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends Friday 4 to 8pm at the funeral home.
