Obituary of Carl Roman Rucinski

Carl R. Rucinski, 79, passed away Tuesday Dec. 11, 2007 after a long illness. He was born in Akron. Carl retired from B. F. Goodrich Chemical Division after 44 years service. He was a veteran of the Army serving during the Korean War. Carl loved to be Santa at Polsky's Department Store in downtown Akron. Mr. Rucinski was preceded in death by son Joseph. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Marie (Sue); sons Keith, Bruce (Tammy), granddaughter Robyn, grandsons Brian and Matthew; brother Thomas; his puppy Scarlett and Rex (the cat he pretended not to like). Funeral services will be held Friday 12:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park Chapel where relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Rev. Scott Campbell officiation.
