Obituary of Shirley Little

Shirley Little, 73, passed away December 4, at Akron General Medical Center. Born in Akron in 1934, Shirley had been a lifetime area resident. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Shirley worked as an executive secretary for Mack Truck, retiring in 2003 after 30 years. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents George and Genevieve Riley; husband Walter in August; granddaughter Allison and brother George Riley Jr. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Tom and Ruth Little of Akron and Jim and Karen Little of Wadsworth; grandchildren Tom Little, Melissa (Jeffrey Pace) Little, Bethany Little, and Katherine Little; great-granddaughter Samantha Rae. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS). Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church (PROCESSION TO FORM AT THE CHURCH). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
