Obituary of Jozef Wojtkow
Jozef Wojtkow, 72, passed away Thursday November 1, 2007 after a brief illness. He was born in Rudenka, Poland on June 30, 1935 coming to the United States in 1960. He worked at Myers Lake in Canton. In 1961 he went to Atlantic Foundry in Akron where he worked for 27 years. Jozef moved to a farm in 1971 and worked there until 1996. Jozef was a member of Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church. Mr. Wojtkow was preceded in death by parents John and Maria and sister Stefka Savalik. He is survived by brother Eugene; daughters Olia (Gary) Hart, Oriana (Frank) Crookston, Orysia (Bob) Elko; sons Josef Wojtkow, Peter (Kathy) Voitko, Paul (Karla) Voitko; grandchildren Lia Hart, Frankie, Theresa, Patty, Michael, Gregory, Tanya, Nicholas, Cecilia, Rebecca, Emily, Matthew and Dominic Crookston, Jessica and Samatha Voitko; step grandchildren Khori (Jamie) Hoover, Jason (Heather) Hart, Shane (Desiree)Hart; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice Care Center and Renee Fenkanyn for their special care of Jozef. Graveside services will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E. Waterloo Rd., Fr. Ignatuis Kury officiating. There will be no visitation.
