Obituary of Alex Kuzmik
Alex Kuzmik, Sr., 77, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Summit Villa in Tallmadge.
He was born in Akron and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He retired from Birch Thomas Oil Distributors after 38 years of service and was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Kuzmik loved his grandchildren and was an avid sportsman. His favorite pastime was watching them play sports and being with them for activities. He was a loving and dedicated husband. Family was his life. Special thanks to Summit Villa Nursing Home Staff and Harbor Light Hospice for their wonderful care.
He is survived by wife of 53 years, Joanne; sons, Alex, Jr. (Chris) and James (Tonya); daughters, Julie (Gary) Francis, Diane Langford and Barbara (Michael) Walls; brothers, Peter (Ruby), Rudy (June), George and Michael; grandchildren, Amy (Adam), Andy, Allison, Jonelle, Katie (Justin), Kristin, Zachary, Luke, Iselena, Michael, II and Nicholas; and great-grandchild, Cleveland.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
