Obituary of Wilhelmina L. Beam
Wilhelmina "Wilma" Lucy (Krajcovic) Beam, 89, passed away Monday, October 8, 2007 at Copley Health Care Center.
She was born in Akron and was a lifelong resident of the Kenmore area. She retired from the B.F. Goodrich Company with 38 years of service and was a member of local #5 retirees club. Wilma was a lifetime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild and Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokol Wreath #43, AARP #682 Chapter and was an election day poll worker for over 30 years. Wilma was an avid bowler and loved to bake and travel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Krajcovic; husband, Donald in 1968; brother, Joe Krajcovic; and sister, Bertha Stewart. She is survived by brothers, Frank (Judy) and Paul (Maureen) Krajcovic; nieces, Ann (Ken) Krizay and Barbara Bobbitt (Don) and her children; nephews, Frank, Jr. (Kim) Krajcovic and their children and Fred (Mikey) Stewart and their children.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 9:30 a.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd. and at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Fr. Patrick Shields officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
