Obituary of Richard F. Mycoskie

Richard F. "Mike" Mycoskie, 86, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012. He was born in Dubois, Pennsylvania and was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces serving during World War II. Mr. Mycoskie retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 38 years of service where he also had many years of service as a Union Representative. He was preceded in death by son, Richard Mycoskie; and is survived by wife of 66 years, Jane (Mitchell) Mycoskie; daughter-in-law, Sherma Mycoskie; grandsons, Andrew Mycoskie and his daughter, Morgan, and Terrence (Megan) Mycoskie and their child expected next week; brother, Bernard Mycoskie; close niece, Linda (Karl) Liebau; and numerous other loving family members. Funeral service will be held Thursday, 12 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Deacon Ray Herrick officiating. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
