Obituary of Jane Talbott Smith

Jane Talbott Smith, 81, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2007. She was born in Akron on July 16, 1926 to Paul and Gladys Talbott. She loved to play golf, bridge and bake for the family and church. She retired from Goodyear International and attended Life Spring Christian Church. She is survived by husband, Joe of 42 years of marriage; step-children whom she cherished as her own, William (Rose), Robert and Terrence (Janet) Smith; beloved twin brother, John Talbott and devoted sister-in-law, Louise; special nieces, Elaine (Bob) Steiner and Tracy (Dick) Gleghorn; nephew, Mike Reeves of Elgin, Illinois; niece, Pat Durand of Grenoble, France; grandchildren, Brian, Beau, Jesse and Taryn Smith, Theresa Combs and Benjamin; and step-granddaughter, Michelle Susten. The family will receive friends TODAY, 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd. where a Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Pastor Terry Baker officiating.
