Obituary of Anthony J. Pinkus
Anthony J. Pinkus, 86, passed away Friday, September 7, 2007.
He was born in Star Junction, Pennsylvania. He retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Company after 45 years of service and was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. Mr. Pinkus was a member of the V.F.W and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He was preceded in death by wife, Datha in 2005; and grandson, James Anthony Banul in 1972. He is survived by son, Lawrence (Robyn); daughters, Jeannette (Frank) Banul and Anita Burgess; sister, Jennie Gurnish; grandchildren, Frank (Wendy) and David Banul, Nancy (Mark) Deer, Joshua and Brandon Burgess, Ryan, Griffin and Dakotah Pinkus, Kara (Josh) Sharpnack; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz, 330-724-1281, www.kakfh.com AN ANTHONY FUNERAL HOME)
