Obituary of Alexander Frank Modory

Alexander F. Modory, 86, passed away Saturday Sept. 8, 2007 Alexander retired from Diamond Crystal Salt. He was a veteran of the Army serving in WWII. Alexander loved to polka and was a season ticket holder of the Akron Zips. Mr. Modory was preceded in death by wives Margaret and Harriett. He is survived by daughters Charlene Hersman, Veronica (Jeffery) Gossett; sister Marie Knapp; grandchildren Benjamin Hersman, Julie (Mark) Passamonti, Sarah (Aaron) Costic, Rachael Smith; great grandchildren Garrett and Gabriella Passamonti, Russell Smith. A memorial mass will be held Thursday 10:00 a.m. at St Bernard Catholic Church. Interment of ashes will be Thursday 11:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery where military services will be held.
