Obituary of Mary Louise Clevenger

Mary Louise Clevenger (Cordray) Mary Louise Clevenger, 99, passed away Monday Sept. 3, 2007. Louise was born Feb. 11, 1908 in Fairmont, WV. She graduated from East Fairmont High School, Fairmont State College, and taught fifth grade. Louise was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and Ladies Guild. Louise was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her daughter, granddaughters and great granddaughters share her name of Louise. Louise was an avid football fan following Notre Dame, Ohio State and West Virginia, she also loved to watch her grandchildren and great grandchildren's sports activities. The family would like to thank Pebble Creek and the Hospice Care Center for their kindness and care of Louise. Louise was preceded in death by parents Charles and Mary Alice Cordray; sister Genevieve Prunty; brothers Bern and William Cordray; and husband of 41 years Martin Leslie Clevenger. She is survived by children Martin (Jean) Clevenger Jr., William Clevenger, Thomas (Christine) Clevenger, Joe Ann (John) Tittle, Mary Rossi, Patricia (Dan) Little; grandchildren David Clevenger, Fred (Vicki) Clevenger, James (Kim) Clevenger, Renee (Jim) Liles, Karrie (Bob) Cleaver, Michelle (Tom) Freeman, Melissa (Shannon) Shinaberry, William and Matthew Clevenger, Mark (Jody) Little, Monique (George) Pantea, Jon, Josh, Sam Clevenger; great grandchildren Ryan, Megan, Jason Andrew Clevenger, James Liles, Abigail Cleaver, Ashley, Patrick, Michael Freeman, Morgan, Mackenzie, Maryn and Madison Shinaberry; special loving nephews Marshall (Mary) Prunty, James (Carol) Prunty, Dr. Michael (Nancy) Prunty and many other loving relatives. The family will receive friends Friday 4-8 p.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
