Obituary of Michael Nicholas Andrews

-FAIRLAWN Michael Nicholas Andrews, 65, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Fairlawn. Born in Akron in 1942, Mike had been a lifetime area resident. He was a graduate of Copley High School and worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways, retiring in 1988 with 18 years of service. Mike was one of the sweetest and kindest persons you would ever want to meet. Michael was preceded in death by his father James Andrews and brother Tim. He is survived by his dear mother Leona of Fairlawn; sons and daughters-in-law Michael J. and Diane Andrews of Norton and Steven A. and Janine Lauro of Wadsworth; daughter and son-in-law Theresa and Don Shoemaker of Akron; brother and sister-in-law Mark and Erin Andrews and sister Stephanie Andrews, all of Sherrills Ford, NC; special friend Mary Jane Andrews; grandchildren Joe (Elise) Geig, Derek Lauro, Jessica Lauro, and Nicole Shoemaker; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Cremation will take place and there will be no services. Memorial donations in Michael's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
