Obituary of Walter Little

Walter Little Walter Little, 79, died Monday, August 13, 2007 at Altercare Center. He was born February 3, 1928 in Elyria and had been an Akron resident since 1965. He was employed by Ironworker Local 7 for 35 years, retiring in 1980. Walter was recipient of the Avon Lake High School Wood Award for athletic achievement. Mr. Little is survived by his wife Shirley; sons and daughters-in-law Tom and Ruth Little of Akron and Jim and Karen Little of Wadsworth; grandchildren Tom, Melissa (fiancée Jeffrey Pace), Bethany, and, Katherine; great granddaughter Samantha Rae; sister Nettie Poorman of Florida; and was preceded in death by granddaughter Allison Little in 1981 and brothers George, Loren, William, Douglas and Scott and sister Martha. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 95 W. Waterloo Rd. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
