Obituary of Mary Ann Stanec

Mary Ann Stanec, age 91, passed away August 15, 2007. She was born in Akron and was a lifetime resident of the area. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church were she was involved with various organizations. She was a member of Friends of the Elms and former member of the Greenvale Garden Club. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Stephen, parents John and Veronica Olenick, brothers; Vincent, John, Joseph, and Frank Olenick. She is survived by her sons Dennis (Linda) Stanec of Wadsworth and Stephen R. (Marie) Stanec of Hacienda Hts., CA, sisters Ann Kline of Bath and Veronica Smith of Portland Oregon, grandchildren; Michael (Maggie), Kathryn (Vance) Truman, Stephen John (Andrea), Dean S. (Teresa), and Tracy (John) Valdez, great grandchildren;Abigail, Andrew, Emma, Anna, Cearra, Noah, Stephen, Victoria, and Tyler. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-5 p.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home 95 W. Waterloo Rd. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Monday 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
