Obituary of Mary Hausman

Mary Agnes Hausman, 93, went home to be with the Lord August 16, 2007. She was born in Walhonding, OH, and was a lifetime resident of the Akron area. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and their Ladies Guild. She worked at Polsky's and was a member of the Polsky's Retirement Club and AARP. Mary loved her cats, bingo, cooking, gardening, and polka dancing. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry, parents Stephen and Anna Tomcho, and brothers Stephen and Michael Tomcho. Mary is survived by her daughter Barbara (Carl) Akins of Clinton, sister, Sr. M. Vitalia of Uniontown, PA, and grandchildren, Stacy Ann Thomas and Lisa Marie (Scott) Cooper of Akron, Ryan Michael (fiancee Janice Taylor) Thomas of Cincinnati, Lori Michelle (Rob) Carr of Suffield, and great granchild Alexis. A special thanks to all friends and loved ones including her neighbors Joey and Nancy for their thoughtful help, her close friends Betty, Verna and Margo, Father Thomas and Terry from St. Paul's, and her hospice caregivers, Tom, Sheila, and Jim. Calling hours will be Monday 5-8pm at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertersz Funeral Home 95 W. Waterloo Rd. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Tuesday 10am at St. Paul Catholic Church.
