Obituary of Richard Smoot

Richard M. Smoot Richard M. Smoot Richard M. Smoot, 28, died unexpectedly, Monday, July 30, 2007 at his home. He was born February 7, 1979 in Akron and had been an Akron resident his entire life. He was employed by TEK International as a machinist. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Richard and grandmother, Doris Smoot, and is survived by his mother, Marie (Kulick) Smoot; sisters, Amy Smoot of Monterey, Calif., and Kathleen Smoot of the home; grandparents, Michael and Frances Kulick and Charles (Alice) Smoot; aunts and uncles, Michael (Nancy) Kulick, James (Robin) Kulick and Connie (James) Stewart; nieces and nephews, Michael, Greg, John, Nathan and Mackenzie Kulick and Sydney Stewart. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2 p.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd., Akron, Ohio 44319, Rev. Mr. Frank Lonteen officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
