Obituary of Helen Rish

Helen E. Rish, 82, passed away Friday, July 27, 2007 at Akron City Hospital. She was born October 7, 1924 in Akron and had lived here her entire life. She was an active and faithful member of St. John the Baptist Church and was a member of their Altar and Rosary Society, Ladies Guild and the Nursing Home Volunteers. She was also a member of the First Catholic Slovak Union branch 553 and the Firestone Park Prime Timers. Mrs. Rish was preceded in death by beloved husband Raymond, son Dennis, her parents John and Mary (nee Ondas) Hronetz and brothers John and Edward Hronetz; and is survived by her children Tom Rish and Nancy (Bill) Lenehan; grandchildren Kristin (Chip), Kelley and Ryan. Funeral services will be held Monday 9:30am at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd., and 10:00am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
