Claude E. Rollins Claude E. Rollins died Friday July 27.2007 at Akron City Hospital. Mr. Rollins was born in Parkersburg,WV Nov 18,1921, a son of James and Anna Rollins. He worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. for over a30 years and was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple. He was a veteran of the US Army during WWII. He leaves a son, Duane Rollins of Akron and a daughter, Darlene Straiter of Plano,TX; and 3 grandchildren, James, Katie, and Jenny. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Rollins Funeral services will be Tuesday 11AM at McGowan-Reid and Santos Funeral Home(corner of Stow and 3rd in the Falls).
