Obituary of Mark Richard Wagner

Mark Richard Wagner, born Dec 1, 1969 in Akron, Ohio left this earthly place to go to his heavenly home on Thursday, July 5, 2007 following a long, courageous battle with cancer. Mark was a lifetime resident of Copley, Ohio and a graduate of Copley High School and was previously employed with AMPCO Systems Parking in Akron, Ohio. He was also a member of St John Lutheran Church, Firestone Park. Mark was an avid fan of the Cleveland sports teams including the Browns, the Cavs and Indians, and the Ohio State football and basketball teams. He also enjoyed being part of the Championship pit crew for his brother David's race car. Mark treasured the family time he spent playing with his niece and nephew Katie and Tyler and family dinners at Nancy and Rob's. He was kind in heart and pure in spirit to all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by his parents, John and Diane Wagner; brother David (Robin) Wagner; sister Nancy (Robert) Nemitt, niece Katie Nemitt and nephew Tyler Nemitt; many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family is grateful to the oncology doctors and nurses at Akron General Medical Center and thankful for the loving care given him while at VNS Hospice Care Center in Copley. Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00am at St. John Lutheran Church. Rev. Howard Grether officiating. Private interment will take place at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends Sunday 2 to 5pm at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd. and Monday 10am to time of services at the church.
