John W. Roman John W. Roman 85, died peacefully June 28,2007 at his home. An Akron native, John worked at B.F Goodrichretiring in 1984.He was a member of Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church;Briarhill Hunting and Fishing Club; ana veteran of the US Navy having served during WWII. John was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years,Rose. He leaves children , John (Paula ), Ronald,Ruth,Donald (Sheila), Ellen (William) Barber,Michael (Linda), Alan(Sabrina);sisters, Victoria Peloquin , Mary Lampe, and Theresa(Gama) Nissanka of Cleveland; 16 grandchildren;and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday July 6th at 9:30 AM at the the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home,95 W. Waterloo Rd. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church.
