Obituary of Anna Folota

Anna Folota, 82, passed away June 25, at Cuyahoga Falls Country Place. Born in Akron in 1924, Anna had been a lifetime area resident. She was a graduate of Garfield High School and was a lifetime member of The Presentation of Our Lord Romanian Orthodox Church, where she volunteered for many years at the fish fry. Anna was preceded in death by her brother Peter Folota and sister Marie Bale. She is survived by her dear sister Helen Cook of Stow as well as many nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews, whom she loved and cared for as if they were her own children and grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 4-8 pm at The Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home 95 W. Waterloo Rd., where a Parastas will be conducted at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am at The Presentation of Our Lord Romanian Orthodox Church, where Anna's body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service.
