Obituary of Michael Ross Allan

Michael Ross Allan, 51, passed away on June 20, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, OH. Born in Wadsworth, OH in 1956, Mike had been a lifetime area resident. He was a 1974 graduate of Wadsworth High School and a 1979 graduate of Miami University. He had been employed as a salesman for over 25 years at Center Automotive in Akron. Mike was an avid camper and golfer and he loved to cook as well. Mike also enjoyed and loved all of his cats very much. In May, Michael completed the Annual Multiple Sclerosis Marathon in Akron, a feat that he was very proud of. Michael was preceded in death by his wife Victoria in 2004. he is survived by his mother and step-father Joanne and Thomas Trueblood and father and step-mother Robert and Marjorie Allan; daughter Erin Boyle of Barberton; fiancée Linda Butler of Canton; brother Randall (fiancée Sandra Dako) Allan of Green; aunt and uncle Joan and Harlin Kroppe of Garrettsville, OH and Carol and Bob Frey of Akron. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at The Anthony & Biscan Funeral Home 4178 Massillon Rd (at the corner of Massillon and Steese Rd's in Green) where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
