Obituary of Angelo Contracier
Angelo passed away June 18, 2007. He was born June 18, 1920 in Akron, OH. He retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserves as Command Sgt. Major. Ang was a member of V.F.W. Post 3383.
He was preceded in death by wife Dorothy, daughter Jackie, great grand daughter Caroline; parents Charles and Culleqera Contraserri; brothers Sam, Joe, Buzz, Tony, Nuncey and Carl; sisters Rose, Mary and Helen.
He is survived by wife Ida; daughters Joanne (Donnie) Light, Joan (Ron) Warren; step-children Marty (Debbie) Huth, Tom (Connie) Huth, Kathy (Phil) Kennedy, Jim Huth and Judy Huth; grandchildren Robert and Kari, Tony, Nick, Elisa and Angie, Jeremy, Jamie and Jacob, Matt and Meghan, Ben and Lindsay, Kim, Rhonda; many great grandchildren and many friends.
Angelo was a friend to many always helping anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday 4-8 p.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd. Funeral services will be Saturday 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park where V.F.W. Post 3383 will conduct military services.
