Obituary of Paul Vanchoff

Paul Vanchoff Paul Vanchoff, 82, passed away Saturday June 16, 2007. He was born in Johnstown, PA. He was retired from the Akron Public Schools, a member of VFW 3383 and the Rubber Capital Harmonica Club. Paul attended The Chapel and was a veteran of the Army serving in WWII. Mr. Vanchoff is survived by his wife Olga; daughters and sons-in-law Susan and Gary Kisling, Patricia and William Powis, Kathleen and Jeff Fix; brothers Nick and George; sisters Helen Bellack, Mary Hirschfelt; grandchildren Julie and Lisa Kisling, Jennifer and Andrea Powis, Mallory Bennett and Kyle Fix; and special friend Paul Lozanoff. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurse at Summa and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit for their care of Paul. The family will receive friends Monday 5-8 p.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W Waterloo Rd. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at the Valleyview Chapel, 1391 State Rd., Wadsworth. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Valleyview Chapel.
