Obituary of John Hicks

John S. Hicks,37 Cuyahoga Falls- John S. Hicks,37. died June 14, 2007 at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital. Mr. Hicks was born March 23, 1970, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Jack and Shirley Geibel Hicks. He was a graduate of Woodridge High School and was a machine operator at Swagelok Company for 12 years. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, having served during Desert Storm. Besides his parents, he leaves his wife, the former Becky Turner; son John S. Hicks, Jr., at home; daughter Josey Hicks at home; brother Jim (Missie) Hicks, of Ellet; sisters, Kathy (Dave) Ebie of Akron, Karen (John) Galehouse of Cuyahoga Falls, Kris (Nicholas) Nahodil of Cuyahoga Falls, Kim (Dave) Swinehart of Clinton; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jim and Dolores Turner; paternal grandmother Pearl Hicks; maternal grandmother Ann Geibel; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather James Geibel; and maternal grandfather Jack Hicks. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 am at McGowan-Reid and Santos Funeral Home, (corner of 3rd and Stow Ave in the Falls). Friends may call Monday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Veteran's Administration.
