Obituary of Albina Jones
Albina E. Jones
DOYLESTOWN - I was born on February 26, 1939 and raised in Akron Ohio and passed away on May 24, at my home in Doylestown. My parents were very loving and caring, both have passed away years ago, it's great to be with them again. They both want the whole family to know how much they love and appreciate them! My Dad's name was Andy my Mom's name was Ellen, they provided everything I needed as a kid and I truly love them both. I also have a brother, Dick, whom I haven't seen in a number of years; I hope all is going well for him and his family.
While attending High school I met the love of my life. Looking back I knew he was a very good man, but not even in my dreams could I have found somebody like Bill. He swept me off of my feet. We use to love to go to the beach together, listen to the radio and talk about our dreams and goals. Growing up with Bill was wonderful, I will always cherish those memories. After high school we got married and have been married for close to 50 years, what a ride! We always wanted kids, we have three sons. (Four men in the house, one bathroom and myself wasn't exactly easy. And all that damn football! The boys would always say only 10 minutes left i.e., 2 and 1/2 hours). Mark, the oldest, passed away in 2001. It's truly great to see him again; he's as handsome as ever. Matthew resides in Doylestown with his wife Melissa and my two Grand Daughters Ellana and Molly. Ellana and Molly need to know that even though I have been sick their whole life, I still love them and they definitely managed to put a smile on my face. Michael resides in Akron and is very successful as he is employed as a physical therapist. The kids were the best part of Bill's and my life together. We sacrificed to ensure that their needs were met, that they had a Catholic education and that they grew up in a loving and caring environment. I love all three of them, they definitely made life interesting. I would like to ensure that all reading this understand what a sacrifice Bill has made for me. During the past ten years he has taken care of my every need, God sees that and has blessed him in a very special way. Thank You Bill, I will always love you.
I would also like to thank several very special people whom have been real life Angels on earth, Dina, Sue and the entire staff of Asera Care. The care, compassion, and friendship you have displayed to me and my family is invaluable. I also know that God has blessed each of you in a special way, Thank You. Please remember all of the wonderful things we shared, and know that we will share even better moments in the future. Please continue to love each other, be kind to all you meet and spread peace wherever you go.
In lieu of flowers, please donate generously to the stem cell research foundation or the Parkinson's foundation. You need a cure for such horrible diseases as Parkinson's. So much good could be accomplished through stem cell research.
The family will receive friends Friday from 4-8 pm at The Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home 95 W. Waterloo Rd. Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 10:00 am at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Doylestown. Father David McCarty officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
