Obituary of Marjorie P. Franz

Marjorie P. Franz, 83, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2007. She was born and lived her entire life in the Akron area. Primarily a homemaker, she volunteered for a time at Akron General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ralph, and parents, Pauline and Francis Klein. She is survived by son, Dennis; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Robert Youngblood; and good friends, Gloria Sapp and Andy Allgood. The last year of her life was spent at the Chapel Hill Community in Canal Fulton, and her family wishes to sincerely thank all the special people on the staff who cared for her there. Per her wishes, private family services have been held. Cremation and burial at Holy Cross Cemetery have taken place. Donations may be made to Chapel Hill Community and the Alzheimer's Association.
