Obituary of Robert Rowe

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Robert L. Rowe, 87, passed away on June 6, at Akron City Hospital. Born in Lakewood, OH in 1920, Robert had been a Cuyahoga Falls resident for 29 years. Robert was manager of Peninsula Steel, retiring in 1988 with 40 years of service. He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, as well as The Congress Lake Club, Summit County Machine Shop, and was an avid golfer and fisherman. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Marilyn of Cuyahoga Falls; son and daughter-in-law Robert and Kathy Rowe of St. Albans, Missouri; daughter and son-in-law Carol and Bill Vozar of Green; step-daughter Susan (Terry Rutledge) Walker of Brimfield; sister and brother-in-law Kay and Bill Heinrich of Westlake; grandchildren Andrew and Daniel Rowe and Nicholas and Curtis Vozar. Cremation will take place. Private services will be held at Bethany United Church of Christ at the convenience of the family. Final resting place will be Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
