Obituary of Vincetta Marie Timura

Vincetta M. 'Vincy' Timura, 62, passed away on May 22, at Akron City Hospital Palliative Care Center. Born in Akron in 1945, Vincy had been a lifetime area resident. She was a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church. Vincetta was preceded in death by her parents Tony and Mary Sernicola. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Stephen; son and daughter-in-law Stephen 'Rich' II and JoAnna Timura of North Ridgeville, OH and daughter and son-in-law Joellen 'Jolie' and Tom Knoebel of Manchester; brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Sue Sernicola of Canal Fulton and sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Alex Zelovic of Barberton; grandchildren Gracie, and Louis Timura and Joshua, Lauren and Logan Knoebel; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends Friday from 4-7 pm at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home 95 W. Waterloo Rd. and from 10:30-11:30 on Saturday. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 11:30 am at the funeral home and will continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at Noon at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church on Manchester Rd.
