Obituary of Loretta Mae Buffa

Loretta Mae Buffa, 81, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at Akron City Hospital. Today the Buffa family lost our Mom. May you hurt no more and dance with Dad forever. You are our hero, best friend and a great mom, grandma and great grandma. We will cherish every memory and miss you every day. Rest now our beautiful Mom, we love you to the moon and back. Loretta was born November 9, 1936 to Edgar and Virginia (Williams) Bonnell in Salem WV and had been an Akron resident for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank in 1998 and is survived by her children Terri (Richard) Haddox, Gerri (Bill) Channell, Josephine Buffa (Blake), Michael Buffa, Antoinette (John) Bucy and Gayle (David) Bird; sister Barbara Jean (Bob) Carroll; grandchildren Craig Buffa, Ryan Haddox (Julie), Francheska (Chris) Dilworth, Cara (Ryan) Armitage, Krissi Bucy and David Bird; great grandchildren Monica and Frank Buffa, Madalyn and Landon Haddox and Christopher and Adam Dilworth; and her best friend Lois Helwig. The family will receive friends Friday 4 to 8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron OH 44301, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am.
