Obituary of Leann Marie Stasik

Leann M. (Darrow) Stasik, 59, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 after a brief illness. Leann was born June 21, 1958 to Dan and Carol (Fath) Darrow in Akron and had been an Akron area resident her entire life. She was a graduate of St. Francis de Sales grade school, a 1976 graduate of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School and attended St. Bonaventure College. She was employed by Miller's Rental for over 25 years. She was a COSA volunteer for Summit County Juvenile Court and a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Leann was preceded in death by her mother, Carol and is survived by her children Danielle (Brian) Macejko and Christopher (Corinne Hinton) Stasik; cherished granddaughter Annabelle Macejko; father Dan Darrow; siblings Daniel (Margaret) Darrow, Carolyn (Russ) Grote, Lawrence Darrow and Patrick (Denise) Darrow. Honoring their Friend and Co-Worker, Leann Stasik, the Adopt A Family Committee and Miller's have made a donation of $1000 to the Food Bank. Leann was a big supporter of AAF and a bigger advocate for giving back to our community. Many of her Cosa children are helped by the Food Bank. Leann served on the AAF committee for many years, leading company events such as the Relay for Life and the infamous Penny Wars. This Donation will be matched by Sequoia Financial Group, making our donation = $2,000 providing 16,000 meals in our community. The family will receive friends Thursday 4 to 7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 12:30 pm at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319.
