Obituary of Hazel Bever

Hazel Coleman-Bever, 90, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2017. Born in Rockhouse, KY on April 22, 1927 to the late Palmer Coleman & Ella Adkins, Hazel was a longtime member of the Akron Baptist Temple, where she volunteered in the 'busy bee's' Sunday School. She retired after 30 years from Akron Children's Hospital, where she worked as a baker. In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her first husband, Harley Coleman; son Marley Coleman, as well as 12 siblings. She is survived by her children Virginia (Roy) Rang, Rebecca Crosier, and Bufford Coleman, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, & great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, 1pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls, where the family will receive friends starting at 11 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
