We send our heartfelt condolences to your family during this difficult time. We hope you find solace in knowing that there are many others out there who share your grief and fond memories.
As a Tiger Band alumni I had the privilege of being taken under Mrs. Bonora's wing as one of her many "band kids." I still remember as a clueless sophomore standing on a chair in her kitchen as she tried to make the smallest band uniform even smaller to fit the 4'11" 85 pound snare drummer who would now be marching with her son Bob. She used all the tricks...pleats, pins, suspenders and hems, but most importantly...love and caring...as she made me in that heavy old wool uniform look like a Tiger Band member should.
Over the next 3 years, she continued to provide me and many other band members with that feeling you were not just part of the band, but part of an extended band family. "Family reunions" continued for decades after I graduated as I came back to march in Alumni Band. Seeing Mr. and Mrs. Bonora in the stands cheering us on just like they did in the late 1970's instantly took me back to that day in her kitchen and the feeling--the warm feeling she gave me with that uniform fitting...the feeling like someone else knew how important that band uniform really was to me.
Thank you Mrs. Bonora.

I always will remember Betty as a beautiful lady who always was so kind to my sister and me when we would be with my dad. Mr. And Mrs. Bonita were so supportive as band parents for the Cuyahoga Falls Bands. I truly remember my dad being able to always count on those two beautiful people. Mrs. B, please rest in peace, and know you will be missed by many family and friends, especially your dearest Robert Sr..what a terrific couple we always admired! Give my parents a hug too because they loved you!
