Obituary of Brooke Alexandria Swan

Brooke Alexandria Swan, 23, died unexpectedly June 7, 2017. Brooke was born in Akron and grew up in Green. She graduated Green High School in 2012. Brooke was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved animals—especially her dog Pee-Wee—and music and good movies. Brooke's big smile, along with her high energy, bubbly personality could light up a room. She was lucky to have her mother as her best friend. In spite of life's struggles, Brooke gave so much kindness, joy and love- always welcoming others into her home when they needed a place to be. Brooke's generous spirit and big heart made the world a brighter place for all her family and friends. Brooke was preceded in death by her grandmother Rose Miller. She leaves behind her mother & step-father Lisa and Robert Schwertfeger; father Ernie Swan, Jr; brother Chris Schillinger (Maria Cilitti) and her nephew Caleb Schillinger; step-siblings Tyler & Tiffany Schwertfeger and Faryn Swan; grandparents Grover C. Miller & Beverly Schwertfeger; Aunts Lori Corbin & Patty Stover; cousins Bryttnie & Andrew Corbin; her beloved dog Pee-Wee; as well as many other relatives and loved ones. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 13 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Rd. (corner of Steese and Massillon Rd. - entrance off of Steese Rd.) Uniontown, Ohio 44685. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM, immediately following the calling hours.
