Obituary of Florence 'Fan' C. Wischt

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Florence 'Fan' C. Wischt, 87, passed away May 26, 2017 at Maplewood Senior Living. Born in Cuyahoga Falls on May 18, 1930 to the late Frank & Angeline Ronca, Fan was a lifetime Cuyahoga Falls resident. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. She had worked as a waitress for many years at the Chesterfield Inn & the Star of Italy. In addition to her parents, Fan was preceded in death by her husband Mathias 'Mike' in 2014; brother Frank Ronca & sister Mary Vaccaro. She is survived by her sisters Eleanor (Gil) Corvin, Antoinette Ronca, & Dolores Harrington, as well as many nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 5-7 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. David McCarthy on Wednesday, 10 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1761 Second St Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Church or to the Falls Cancer Club PO Box 3244 Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
