Obituary of Gena Rae Surovi

Green - Gena Rae Surovi (Alldredge), 47, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Akron General Medical Center. Gena was born October 12, 1969 to James and Sheliah Alldredge in Akron and has been a Green resident for many years. She was a 1988 graduate of East High School and received an Associate Degree in Computer Science from the University of Akron. Gena was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her loving husband of 27 years with marriage of 19 Edward; sons Victor and Vincent; mother Sheliah Alldredge; sister Alissa Fullen and her daughter Sophie; brother-in-law Nathan (Amy) Surovi and their children Kayla, Michael, Hope and Ethan; and father-in-law Edward (Maggie) Surovi. Gena was a loving, caring, and selfless woman. She was sensitive and thoughtful where she would give you the world just to ensure you're taken care of. Gena placed her husband and sons on the highest pedestal as they were her life. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Green Chapel, 4178 Massillon Rd., Uniontown, Oh 44685 (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads, entrance off of Steese Rd.). A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 11:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd. Uniontown, Oh 44685. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a cause that benefits children or the hungry. (GREEN)
