Obituary of John Francis Kareski
-CUYAHOGA FALLS
John 'Jas' Kareski, 71, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2017.
Born in Akron on June 22, 1945 to the late Stanley and Victoria Kareski, John had been a Cuyahoga Falls resident for over 46 years. He was a graduate of Hoban High School and went on to proudly serve his country as a member of the US Marine Reserves. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls for over 46 years. He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus IHM Council #13517.
John is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Susan; daughters Michalene (Jeff) Wilkey and Megan (Tony) Falco; granddaughters Maya & Maddie; brother Stanley Kareski; his 'NCIS' buddies Ron & Bob, as well as many other close friends, nieces & nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. James Singler on Friday, March 3, 11 am, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 1905 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park in Cuyahoga Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Father McIntyre fund c/o Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
