Obituary of Mildred A. Noland

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Mildred A. "Millie" Noland, 93, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at Traditions Care Center on Bath Road. She was born in Chuckey, Tennessee and was a member of Fishcreek Nazarene Worship Center. She was a real estate saleslady for 40 years having built three houses in Akron and Silver Lake. Mrs. Noland was a member of the Toastmistresses Club and was president of the Cuyahoga Falls Women's Democratic Study Club. Special thanks to Hospice of Summa and Traditions Care Center for all of their care and also to her grandson Brian and his family for all of their exceptional loving care and concern for her. She was preceded in death by parents, Samuel R. and Dokie (Speer) Hampton; and husband, Dudley L.; and is survived by daughters, Rebecca (Fred) Fournier and Rachel "Leah" (Herb) Joseph; son, Robert L. (Sandra); grandchildren, Brian (Jennifer), Shawn (Marsha) Belty, Charlotte (John) Bowman, Jon, Mike (Teresa), Chris (Maegan) Joseph, Troy (Kristin), Rusty and Chaley Noland; and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) in Cuyahoga Falls where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rev.
