Obituary of Audrey Ellen Carbone

Audrey E. Carbone, 83, passed away on February 5, 2010. Audrey was born in Brimfield, Ohio on March 30, 1926 to Elmer and May Adams. She graduated from Kent High School and then completed her Registered Nursing Degree from Akron University at St. Thomas Hospital. Audrey had a passion for learning, enjoyed travelling, fishing with Joe, reading and continuing her registered nursing studies. Most of all, Audrey enjoyed her family and many friends. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Carbone; and her brother, Elmer Adams, Jr. Audrey is survived by her daughter, Kathy Bliss; and three sons, Paul, Tim and Jeff Pawlak. Audrey had eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren who will miss her greatly. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. Cuyahoga Falls (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) where the funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Fr.
