Obituary of Roman Brechun
Roman Brechun, 90, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010.
He was born in the Ukraine and retired from the Babcock and Wilcox Company after over 20 years of service. He was a member of St. Pokrova Ukrainian Catholic Church; loved classical music, enjoyed playing the violin and singing in the church choir.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lydia in 1986; and is survived by his second wife, Helen; sons and daughters-in-law, George and Lenore and Roman and Mary Ann Brechun; grandchildren, Ashley Marie, William and Larisa Brechun; and sister, Jaraslava Brechun.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS) in Akron. Fr. Michael Drozdovsky officiating. Interment at St. Pokrova Cemetery in Parma.
